The Point Curtis Cruising Club Inc. was established in 1958. It was formed by like-minded fishermen for recreational and competitive fishing and general camaraderie. It is a fishing, hunting and social club based at the 3 Furs. The club has a species board at the 3 Furs which includes fish, birds and boar. They hold a Fish of the Month competition every month with prizes awarded, donated by local businesses. Fishing, shooting and pool competitions are held throughout the year. The club meets at the Kaiwaka Sports Association once a month.
